DKP Rules (Revised 5/06/09) (submitted by Priori at 09:01pm PDT) DKP is distributed as follows: 0.25- On-time, usually done around 6:00~ 1.00- Raid Attendance Check, done every 1.5-2hrs 1.00- Bonus Raid Attendance Check, given if raid exceeds 9:30 PST. 1.50- Raid Progression Check, done every 1.5hrs, given only if the entire raid period spent on a difficult and new boss mob while using Full Consumables. The List will go up before on-time is called even if the raid is not full, please list if you have the intent to raid so you do not miss this check. People on the list will earn DKP at it's full value as if you were on the raid. Remember to re-list when you sit, or un-list when you leave. The commands are: "wl add" - Adds yourself to the list. Alts listing will still give DKP to your name as long as they are properly tagged in guild "wl remove" - Removes yourself from the list. You should do this if you are unable to raid because you are leaving or you are going to be unreliable. "wl who" - Displays all individuals on the list. The position of where you are on the list does not take precedence over the classes which are needed. People on the list can be on-call on a special circumstance basis. Regardless, someone on the list should be easily reachable and be prepared to report to the raid within 5 minutes of being called. If we cannot locate you in that time period, you will be removed from the list, from all checks for the night up until that point, and penalized an additional 3 DKP on repeat offense. DKP Adjustments: These do not affect attendance, and are given as rewards for defeating a difficult boss, or penalties for not being readily available when called upon when on the list. Other punitive/rewards may be used through adjustments. The most common adjustment since the change of on-time to attendance checks, is the -25% DKP adjustment upon guild invitation. This adjustment is taken from total DKP earned during the applicant period, and cannot exceed 10.00 DKP. Reactivation of raider status and personal requests for a class switch to another character, will also incur a 25% penalty. On occasion, this penalty may be waved with approval into a high-demand class. DKP and Bidding: When an item drops, an officer will ask for tells. If you are interested in the item, send a tell saying how many points you wish to spend, up to the total amount you had at the beginning of the raid. Currently we have adapted Hadar's DKP Bid Taker mod available at http://www.sunderguild.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8028. Successful bids will active a response from the mod confirming the bid value of the item. Further details of the mod are available through the link above. DKP bids should be made in increments of 0.25. (5.25, 5.50, 7.75, etc.). Bids are accepted through messages sent by whisper in the following format: "/w (officer) bid [Itemlink] (value of bid)" i.e. "/w (officer) bid [item link] 6.25" Alternatively, bids can be made with the assistance of the DKP Bid Maker mod available at http://www.sunderguild.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8182 "Off-Spec" Bid: 1-dkp bid, no priority bid, only beats other Off-Spec bids based on attendance. Only bids on items which will not be your primary raiding spec can be considered Off-Spec. The only exception is when you have already purchased an item of the same tier (determined by ilvl), and wish to buy it's counterpart off-set for specialty use. "Min" Bid: 3-dkp, can bid "min" even if you are in negative DKP. Anyone on the raid can bid min. Backup Raiders and Raid Invites share the same priority. Casuals have no priority, loot to them is subject to officer decision, but will often be ahead of off-spec. Negative Min: Bids which will reduce your DKP below zero, and thus leave you negative, have lower Priority than true min bids. Please disclose a "negative min" bid when bidding. A bid of "min" will be considered and assumed as a positive bid. Ties will go to the person with the most points currently unspent, or positive. Further ties will follow with normal bidding rules. Anything beyond 3: Normal bids by Raiders; Backup Raiders are capped at a maximum of 6. Special Exceptions/Items: Crusader Orbs - minimum of 0.25 DKP Legendaries: Due to the nature of a legendary item, normal DKP standings will not be used. In the past, we have used a metric ratio of lifetime DKP earned for that given expansion as usable DKP to bid for a legendary as a sign of rewarding long term loyalty and dedication to the guild. Since legendaries are extremely unique in design and implementation, details of how we bids will be handled for an upcoming legendary item shoud be available about 1 week prior to reaching a boss capable of dropping the item or a component of the item. In short, legendary bids do not use normal DKP or normal DKP rules. Stocking up DKP will have ZERO affect on your standing for a legendary item! Mounts: Mounts are considered additional vanity items granted from raiding that do not involve raid progression. As such, bids for such items include gold and GBP on top of normal DKP standards to provide for unique demands without affecting DKP loot order. Bids for mounts use gold, with 1 GBP : 1 gold and 1 DKP: 250 gold, conversion ratios applicable. The general bid minimum is 1000g, with all gaps at 250g. Tie breakers follow standard attendance rules. Tie Breakers: Tie breakers, should they occur when all of the above rules have been applied, shall be held using Attendance, starting with 30-day percentage, and moving to Lifetime. If a lifetime tie-breaker is needed, total DKP earned will be used. NOTE: Officers reserve the right to waive the rules as necessary for exceptions on a case by case basis; these events are very rare. In rare cases where your bid was missed or the bid was incorrectly announced by an officer, and no in-game fix is possible, the next copy of that item will be assigned to you at the proper value. |

Burning Crusade - Minimum Bids (submitted by selenar at 01:28pm PDT) The current minimum bid amount for any item in the Burning Crusade is 5 with the exception of Nether Vortexes which have a minimum bid of 1 with special rules governing their awarding. Nether Vortexes These are bid on in normal fashion with the altered minimum bid of 1 point. However, the winner of the item then sets the price of their vortexes until they complete the item they are going for. They get all vortex drops until their item requirements are met for that item. If they are not present for the drop of a vortex, another person will start collecting their's and if both are present, the person with the oldest claim will continue collecting until they are done. So for example, if a vortex drops and I'm going to make Blazefury, I'll need 5. I bid and win at 6 dkp. I'm charged 6 dkp for the vortex and we proceed on. If we get another vortex 2 weeks later, there is no bidding for it. I get that one automatically and I'm charged another 6 dkp for it, etc. If I'm gone and one drops that Kinien wins for 8 dkp, and he needs two to complete a belt, then he's charged the 8. If we're both on during the next drop, I need 3 still so the vortex goes to me and I'm charged 6. |

From Finniens Post 4-18-06 (submitted by Kinien Northoak at 11:50am PDT) Some people have been shooting me tells periodically asking about the minimum bid for various loot, so I figured I'd post a quick thread reiterating what the various min bids are. Resist gear (Any dungeon) / BWL class trinkets- 2 dkp min bid Tier 1/World Boss non-class-specific - 3 dkp Tier 1 class specific - 6 dkp (set armor, benediction/hunter leaf) Tier 2 non-class specific (Rag, Ony, AQ, BWL) - 5 dkp Tier 2 set armor (Rag, Ony, BWL) - 10 dkp Note - set armor items in AQ have a 5 dkp min bid, due to their cross-class utility allowing for competitive bidding. |
