Tradeskills At Release

If you don't have your heart set on a tradeskill, get herbalism. Whether you decide on a resource-gathering system, like skinning/herbalism or mining/herbalism, or decide to go for the more personally useful alchemy/herbalism, make sure you pick up herbs. Potions will be necessary for raid encounters, for resists and whatnot, and they're unpurchasable. The more people who can add herbs to the general guild pile, the better.

So, if you're in doubt, pick Herbalism. And if you're looking for easy ways to get it up, the run from Dun Morogh to Loch Modan has TOOOOONS of good low-level herbs for getting your skill up quickly.
