The function of BlessingsMonitor is to allow a paladin to maintain his own blessings on a raid with minimum lapses.

After setting blessing rules you can monitor every member of the raid for their one blessing from you. Each respective blessing icon will go light red when time on a blessing is almost elapsed, and full red when the blessing is gone. The blessing icon darkens when a raid member is dead or offline. To cast a blessing, click the icon next to a raid member. Mousing over each blessing icon shows the remaining time on the blessing.

In addition, you can renew blessings by pressing a single button. Each time a blessing will be reapplied on the raid member with the lowest remaining time on the blessing. If a cast is not possible due to range, that player will be skipped for a short time. This function can be assigned a hotkey via Key Bindings.

A few notes:
- The blessing durations are accurate only when you are casting through the BlessingsMonitor functions. If you cast a blessing in any other way or another paladin overwrites your blessing then a wrong duration will be displayed (or none at all). Blessing durations automatically take your talents into account, but not gear - such as the Freethinker's Armor set.
- You can only monitor blessings you can actually cast. If you don't have BoK or you're missing a blessings from the trainer then you cannot monitor them.
- Pets are not monitored.

is this mod still going to be feasible in BC? i know the current version doesn't work, but just wondering if we'll see a new iteration?

oh, and once in a blue moon, i get an error on line 848 when using BM (this is live, not beta, obviously). i can post a screenshot if need be.

I don't think it will be feasible. In combat everything gets locked down for mods, so textures can't change (to show the buffs).

You can change textures (I have a mod that does this for cleansing in Beta), Alpha values, etc. You can't move frames programatically or changes other attributes (forget the entire list).

Having a mod target and cast spells is dead with the new code, thus a lot of our nice buffing mods are gone. ::sigh::
