Watchdog has gone the way of the dodo

I was originally turned onto this mod by Tibbie. Watchdog used to be a really nice combo package with sleek, compact unit frames, target of target + unit frame, as well as 1-click casting. Everything you need, nothing you dont. The mod was an evolution of CastParty, which I believe is still around. Anyways, after going through 3 different developers who kept updating the mod instead of letting it die, the current dev decided to remove all click-casting functionality.. <cry> in its place they recommend a new mod, called 'Clique'. Going to have to download this and try it out tonight. Hopefully it will work Blizz default raid bars/CT-raid bars/Perl-raid bars. Watchdog supported click casting on blizz and ct raid bars, which is how i was able to keep JoW up on Patchwerk and still heal fulltime. Sigh, so frustrating to have these mods get changed on me.. but I guess its better than the alternative of trying to write new ones myself! eek!

well, seeing as every mod and its cousin has gone over to Ace now, i opted to junk titan bar and castparty and put in clique and fubar today.

so far, i have to say, i really like clique. do kinda miss having the extra set of party bars i could get with CP, but the setup and finctionality of clique is fantastic.

fubar, otoh, kinda leaves me a bit cold. yeah, my memory use is down a bit, but i had to grab so many addons and tweaks and stupid things to get most of the functionality i was used to in titan that i really wondered why i even bothered.
