scout is a good choice for good damage, but they can be a bit squishy. you can pair that with warrior/knight for the better armor selection if you so choose, or a priest/druid for the ability to keep yourself alive. scout/rogue i have heard is the best single-target dps in the game.

are you on palenque? if so we can probably start working on getting you some gear to use.

Yeah, I'm on palequine. Went scout/rogue for now, because it seems pretty easy to dps things down and kite if I have to. I don't mind a few deaths in return for fast kill rate. Is it possible to switch later and abandon one class and add another... i.e. get scout/rogue to like 40/35, then decide scout isn't good and go rogue/warrior and level the warrior up from 1?

you can buy items from the cash shop which will let you "forget" your secondary class (whichever isn't currently configured as your primary at that time, i believe). so yes you can as long as you're willing to buy diamonds. something tells me that's not going to be a big roadblock

*edit* fyi, leveling the secondary class can be a big PITA from what it seems. quests are not enough to level you on their own, and dailies will play a significant part. i'm almost 55 on the mage and the druid is still 31. i'm going to have to rely solely on daily quests to catch him up. on the bright side, i can complete dailies 10 levels ahead of him with my mage and then just allow the 31 to turn them in.

I am playing a rogue right now, thinking of doing a scout, knight or warrior as a subclass.
My main goal is being able to rock anyone 1 vs 1 in pvp My bro in law and i are going to be running around a lot looking for small 2v2 battles mostly. With that in mind, what do you guys suggest as the sub class for rogue?

It seems that the account creation problem is kinda prevalent but not hard to fix. Essentially it appears that any time you create an account, your password won't (or is unlikely) to work, so you have to either go change it, or re-obtain it, or do something on the account page to re-register the login for it to stick.

While there is going to be some sort of mana nerf to casters in the future I don't think it will be all that bad. They may have mishandled the last attempt but I think they learned a valuable lesson. It is only max geared casters that seem to have infinite mana. Scouts on the other hand are probably destined for a nerf as well. Their dps in the end-game is monstrous. They out-dps other damage classes 2-3X atm. so I expect there to be some eventual balancing there as well.

So what did you and your brother go with? For the sheer dps I think I would go scout. It would be good if someone had a healer subclass tho.
